These beautiful landscape views from Mt. Elgon
Park were taken from Elephant Bluff. The maize
fields were almost mature and the patchwork farms
along with the little villages of thatched round homes
made it breathtaking. The pictures don't show the
depth of the valleys below.
Phillip was our guide. He has lived in the area all
his life and helps rescue people when they get lost
in the park. He has 2 little boys and his wife is going
to college in Uganda to get a teaching degree. |
E/S Hunter - Ann sent us your blog site. We have enjoyed looking at the photos. You look great and hope you're loving your mission. Guatemala is wonderfu. We have about 3 1/2 months until we return home. We 've loved our calling and the people we serve. We'll follow your blog. Keep up the good work.
