Christmas, Kitale, and Sunflowers

These children from Mautuma Branch were singing
Christmas songs and did a Nativity skit.  The boy in front
was actually leading the song.  They learn the songs in
English even though they speak only Swahili.  They used
a flashlight for the star.  In the next picture these are the
sheep, shepherds, and people in the story.

In downtown Kitale a herd of cattle move through--a very common scene.

The field of sunflowers is the crop which is planted
after the maize is harvested.  They always look
so cheerful.
