Mattresses to Family

We took some elders' used mattresses to a family
in Naitiri.  Both parents have passed away and
the older children are trying to keep the family
together and keeping up the family home.  The
last picture is the gravesite of their parents who
are buried near the home.

Veterinary Work with President Chirchir

President Chirchir on the left, is 1st Counselor to
Mission President Hicken.  He invited Jon to spend
a day with him to show how they dip their cattle
each week and give rabies shots to dogs.  They also
saw a dairy which is not being used, and also saw
a successful tomato garden.  Most of the cows were
herded by women.
